Ghostfest 2010 Announced

Had a blast last year, was our first time playing ghostfest, come along and party. More bands to be announced. . .

TIH/MTL Belated Tour Blog

NOTTINGHAM.
so we rocked up in nottiingham rather early, waiting for this is hell who were drastically late. after all the meet and greets we ate some curry, drank some beers and watch BWP kill it right before we played. the show was pretty cool, we all felt real rusty like we hadn’t played a show in forever… things went surprisingly well.

we stayed with alex from basement, good dude, awesome host. has a lack of mirrors in his house as benny found out.

GRIMSBY.
we had rad little road trip with benny singing along to NOFX, blink, millencollin, and lagwagon whilst drinking beers and black death bourbon. cant escape the skull

grimsby is a weird place, all the traffic lights are all on at the same time.

you can openly walk on the tracks.

and also watch bands play/ idiots mosh on a big screen downstairs in the venue we played.

EXETER.
driving across the country…long.

our first time in exeter. nice town and a nice venue, of course we played with some scene metal bands, what of it?

promoter gave us pizza, good lad!

headed back to frome to stay the night, took this is hell down the town for a greasy spoon then up to the lamb and fountain for a pint of rough cider and a game of ….

CARDIFF.
played with chains of hate. show seemed pretty busy and we seemed to be playing pretty tight last few shows. hard to believe?

this is hell went down really sick, smashed it!

we packed up, this is hell went back to frome, we kept ANDREW JONESSS and took him on a night out with the lads. was golden. surprised we weren’t kicked out of CLWB. fosters bottles for £1 didn’t help much. walked back to our mates with the head of a statue to say the least.

NORWICH.
mikeXdarkside hooked up up with lots of treats. good promoter, the show seemed to go down pretty well for us baring in mind we have been playing 4 new songs no one has heard before. this is hell went down really well! pizza night and sofa sleeps, thanks mike.

LONDON.
after waking up extremely early and remember we had a broken down citron saxo to repair, we drove round for a few hours after being turned down by lame ass garages until we ran into little norwich legend, “wishy washy”. . . a window cleaner we met at a road side caff who hooked us up with his mate who repaired our little car for cheap as chips. . . of course we stopped for joel to check out charity shop VHS collections. standard.

. . .on the way to the show we stopped off at the cros nest to mix our record, took us a while but all went well. the show was pretty sick, a lot of friends. too many people to say hello to tbh. hayley williams? c’oorrr! spent the night at xHOUSEx thanks to lovely twiggles. comfy times.

PETERBOROUGH.

last day of tour : ( very sad to see this is hell go… and realise we had lost our spare guitar ha! hanging out was a blast. show was literally full of goths, it ruled.

after recording the TIH/MTL tour rap we played our sets and parted ways. those yanks went off to join more yanks AGNOSTIC FRONT in europe, whilst we got a flat tyre on the way home and a 3 hour drive became a good 6 hour drive. brilliant.

end of the day, little uk tour was rad. cant wait for DEFEATER/DEAD SWANS/MORE THAN LIFE tour. new countries, new cities, new songs, new people. tour life <3

SOSOSO. . .

tomorrow is the start of the TIH/MTL uk tour, a week of pretty much southern dates. pretty stoked to get away, the majority of us have only been stuck at home of vagely working.

we will be playing THREE new songs off our album, and whilst LOVE LET ME GO will be mastered and two new tacks will be up on our myspace. ones we have never played live before.

small amount of merch will be available, not the blue shirt is actually a purple one! BRAND new merch will be up soon with package deals on the LP.

ain’t got much more to say except we all wanna have a good time on tour. beers galore.
